While it may not match the Xperia 5 V’s capabilities, it still delivers excellent photos for everyday use. As Krennic enters the foreground of the scene, we once again get to appreciate how solid the image is, and how three-dimensional it feels. If you want to save a few bucks and still get most of the same Samsung experience, there is also the Galaxy A34 to consider.While the Xperia 10 IV certainly wasn't unusable by any means, it wasn't the smoothest-performing smartphone we've ever tested, so a newer processor would have been appreciated.

The Xperia 10 V, on the other hand, sports the distinctly mid-range Snapdragon 695 chipset – an SoC that was announced back in 2021 – with half the RAM of the Xperia 1 V at 6GB. Hooked up to a high-wattage GaN charger, Sony’s low-end effort didn’t juice up particularly quickly, feeling, again, a little like a relic of a bygone time compared to the fast-charging competition out there. The phone is powered by exactly the same Snapdragon 695 processor as its predecessor, but there’s progress in the camera department with a larger, more pixel-packed 48MP wide sensor.And the Xperia 10 V is a prime example of the Japanese electronics giant potentially overthinking things.
