We’ve Got This is a captivating and compelling read that outlines the path to standing in your power. Most of the pieces were written by the contributors themselves, but Hull compiled some of them from her interviews with the subjects. The collection includes authors from a wide variety of backgrounds and experiences … it also includes essays and interviews from parents with intellectual disabilities, a frequently missing discourse in disability spaces … As a disabled parent, this was such an affirming and moving read for me, though I think all parents will benefit from reading it.Not only is We’ve Got This a guiding light on the importance of authenticity and belonging, it’s a practical guidebook on how to live your best life both personally and professionally—especially for people who constantly have hate coming their way.
