The subtle depiction of class rivalries, personal relationships, and Turing's tragic end are worthy of a novel. Though the investigation and the coroner's verdict ruled the death a suicide, some believe that the death was caused by the accidental inhalation of cyanide fumes from a device used for electroplating spoons with gold.
