About this deal
Saucony seems to have found the perfect recipe for a midsole that offers both cushioning and responsivenessfor long-distance runners. Jeremy : Saucony describes the T19 midsole as having a “generous amount of PWRRUN+ foam”, seconded by a topsole (the black layer on top, which I did not get details on but it is my understanding Saucony is still using Everun for that, the predecessor TPU midsole foam to PWRRUN+ ) and a comfortable FormFit sockliner”.

ROBBE: For starters, I think this is the best-looking shoe in the whole Saucony checkers and chess family. A 2015 study by Marlisoux et al found that runners who used more than one pair of shoes over a 22 week period had a 39% lower risk of injury as compared to runners who only ran in 1 pair of shoes.Jeremy: Leaning more on the dynamic side of running shoes, the Sonic 3 still packs a nice amount of responsive cushioning and shock absorption thanks to its Optivibe insert.

These shoes will likely last 300+ miles before needing replacement, as long as the cushioning holds up. The latest set of footwear coming out of this brand is so bold and fun, it just makes you want to snatch these out of the box and just head out on a hilly 10-mile tempo with the shortest pair of shorts in your drawer.which is like a pillow over the top of your foot and secured with stretchy mesh gussets giving this shoe decent midfoot lockdown. Still, the Novablast 2 is slightly heavier than I prefer for a daily trainer and I prefer it as a long-run shoe rather than a daily shoe.
