Stills photography aside, the S20 Plus’ other big feature (along with its siblings) is the capability to capture 8K video at 24fps. Bump the settings up to 120Hz and you can expect that figure to nose-dive by at least a couple of hours, which is okay but not quite as impressive. The phone’s wireless chipset supports 4G and 5G connections along with the latest flavour of super-fast Wi-FI – WiFi 6 – and there’s Bluetooth 5 as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus doesn’t look much different to its predecessor, but this is the sleekest device in a long line of flagships – and that isn’t a bad look. Featuring a 64 MP high-resolution camera with 30X Zoom, you can capture stunning photos like never before on this smartphone. The screen is the main thing that makes the S20 Plus more expensive than its near-identical sibling, the Galaxy S20.You might not want to go with any of them though, as the Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus, and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra have all now been released. Experience cinema-quality viewing experience on the HDR10+ certified Infinity-O display of this Samsung smartphone. We've yet to test that version of the device, but we believe 8GB of RAM should be enough to get you through everyday tasks.
If you do want to stick with Android, though, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus still makes a fine choice.
The Galaxy S20+ battery comes in at an impressive 4500 mAh that’ll keep you going for the whole day and more. Having said that, there are much more affordable contract deals that'll let you pay off the cost of the handset over a 24 months. They put out respectable audio, though we still haven’t found sound projection and stereo balance that tops what the Google Pixel 4 is capable of.
All of Samsung's 2020 flagship phones run on a powerful Exynos 990 processor with Android 10 preinstalled.If you don’t mind ho-hum design, the phone still handles anything you throw at it, and should last you years - especially assuming 5G networks stay compatible with the S20 Plus as they build out.
