About this deal
I was skeptical using a setting powder on the brush as I had visions of it going all over my clothes.
True Glow Glam Vibrating Makeup Brush Set - Conair
As a final test, that I just remembered to do this morning, I compared foundation application of both the makeup blender and sponge to another well-known vibrating makeup application tool - the Clarisonic. Like all other sponge makeup blenders, you can use this either wet or dry though if you decide to use it wet, I would remove the vibrating portion first since water and batteries don't really mesh well.It is easy to assume one would be used for shading, blending, smudging, liner and brows (respectively), but those who aren’t familiar with traditional brush shapes and densities could get confused.

Buried in the bandwagon, these brushes were actually created by an accomplished make-up artist who realised - after over 30 years training thousands of make-up artists to paint the faces of others - that consumers needed different kind of brushes to apply their own make-up best. To find out which facial cleansing brush truly outperforms the rest, we started our testing process with a full face of makeup (foundation, concealer, mascara, eyeliner, lipstick, and blush). One of the best parts of this cleansing brush is its compact countertop stand, which is small enough on even the most crowded of vanities. The silicone grip felt comfortable in hand and didn’t get slippery when wet (the whole brush is waterproof, so you can even take it in the shower with you). To make up for the fact that there is no bottom, this makeup blender has lots of surface area on the sides for large area application.

Though it is a well-designed brush in its own right, the BlendUp’s added vibrating mode helps your foundation blend and blur pores to practical invisibility. I recommend applying your moisturiser or primer with the brush before foundation (to stimulate the skin), using a light hand (a little goes a long way), and doing a daily soap spruce on its self-cleaning mode (activated by holding the power button for three seconds). We continued to use the brush for another three months, reeling our usage back to two or three times a week for light exfoliating maintenance.I don't know what it is but it just makes my contour and bronzer look super smooth and natural even though my face is contoured to the hills. I've used the Flat brush to apply both foundation and under-eye concealer as it is smaller than most foundation brushes and can easily pack product into tiny corners.
