About this deal
This is a new whisky that is the latest to enter the core range of single malts of the popular Speyside distillery of Aberlour. Further, we reserve the right to modify, change, discontinue the Service, add or remove features, update the Service, change its appearance, temporarily and permanently, at any time, in whole or any part thereof. The Aberlour 14 years old Double Cask Matured is a very pleasant single malt that offers plenty to the drinker.
The next layer to develop is that of the dried fruits, which again follows the raisin/sultana/candied orange track of the nose.Nose: Big aromatics on this one with cloves, cardamom and camphor, and then comes a wave of sweeter notes like toffee, milk chocolate and orange rind.
A 14 year old single malt from the awesome Aberlour Distillery up in Scotland's prolific Speyside region. By using the Service, and by creating an account you represent, warrant and confirm that you are of legal age. This process was overseen by Graeme Cruickshank, the Master Distiller at Aberlour, and his cask selection team. Why put some much into something for 14 years only to rip all of the decent flavours out of it to make it 40%. Dig in to all those fruity, spicy sherried notes that you're familiar with from Aberlour, paired with decadent helpings of rich, creamy vanilla.
A new expression, produced in individual batches, that celebrates a belief that sometimes less is more. It's a good bottle to experiment with Speyside whiskies if you have not had much experience and the light flavours mean it is a great whisky for warm evenings and summer days. They do this mostly in collaboration with a third party, in this case La Maison du Whisky, the French retail outlet and importer.
